Hi, I’m Sara!

I’M SOOO GLAD YOU’RE HERE.

Not to brag or anything, but I’ve been really into social media since the MySpace days. I used to be embarrassed to admit that, but now that passion has become a superpower.

If you want your social media accounts to get real results, you’re going to need creativity, strategy and a pinch of consumer psychology.

LUCKY YOU! I can do allll that and more!

circa 2007

Yep, that’s me!

I went to college for broadcast media studies. Let me paint a picture for you: I was editing on actual tape. I was the first person I knew to have a Twitter account. MySpace was still a thing and your mom wasn’t on Facebook yet.

Everyone still had a flip phone.

A lot has changed since then, but I’ve been riding the social media trends every since!

circa 2014

I spent over a decade working in local television news

I have done it all: Shooting, editing, producing, mentoring, forecasting the weather… I even rode a freakin’ elephant on TV. The whole time, I kept my social media accounts alive and active. I won a statewide award for my work on a web team because I understand what gets people talking. In the end, my newsroom experience has made me resourceful and (as I like to say) scrappy!

today

I’m behind the camera now.
The medium has changed, but the messaging is the same.

I’ve been building something quietly for a couple years now.

Here’s how it started: My younger daughter led me here.

I started an Instagram account for her when she was a baby (long story, we can get into it later). I began studying the algorithm and best practices for social media success.

I became obsessed with how to make better content and get better results.

And now every free hour I have, I’m learning more about social media marketing. My years working in a newsroom have given me a strong advantage in navigating this space.
